Privacy Policy

The following privacy policy outlines the services, features, and privacy behaviors of the “BorrowMoneyApp.com” website (the “Website”).

Disclosure
The Website owner is not a lender or loan broker and makes no decisions about lending, loan terms, or financial products. It functions as a loan-connection service only.

Using encryption, the Website passes user info entered into a form among a network of third-party lenders. It is these lenders that decide APR interest rates, fees, and all other terms of the loan agreement.

The Information the Website Collects
In the course of using the Website, personally identifiable information, i.e., information that could identify the user, is collected. This is accompanied by non-personally identifiable information or info that cannot be directly tied to an individual.

Personally identifiable information (PII) can be collected when a user fills out the form on the app in an attempt to connect with a lender from the network, or if they use the Website feature to ask questions.

This data may include name, address, DOB, email address, phone number, Social Security Number (SSN), citizenship, employment status, income level and frequency, driver’s license number, homeowner status, and checking account details.

Other, non-personally identifiable information may be collected via the use of standard web tracking and analytics scripts, or by recognizing a set of “cookies” on the user’s device.

This includes the browser or method of access, language, user’s IP address, time of access, inbound and outbound links the user follows, and the pages and areas of the app used. This is used for internal analysis to improve user’s app and web experience.

(A cookie is a small file store on a user’s device that holds such information without revealing their individual identity. A user is within their right to block cookies).

The Website also reserves the right to share data collected by cookies and other non-personally identifiable information with the third-party lenders in the network for the analysis of trends and statistical purposes.

As well as cookies delivered by the app, advertising partners and lenders may recognize cookies as part of their ad campaigns. These also are used to collect non-personally identifiable information, particularly regarding a user’s engagement with their advertisements. In this context, the app does not share personally identifiable information with these third parties.

How the Website Uses Personally Identifiable Information
Personally identifiable information, as outlined above, is used for the express purpose of providing the loan connection service requested by users. The information entered into the app is sent to each lender in the network in the process of matching a borrower with a lender.

Furthermore, the info could be used to enforce loan agreements, settle disputes between borrow and lender, and fix technical issues. The use of this info does not exceed what is considered necessary to provide the loan service.

By using the Website and providing their personally identifiable information, users agree it may be shared with these stated third parties in compliance with federal and state law where applicable. Users also consent to the use of the information for marketing and advertising purposes related to the loan service and deemed relevant to the user. The app reserves the right to pass on, sell, or otherwise disclose said information to third parties.

The Website operator, not being a lender, does not have access to the information entered on the application form due to encryption. It is securely sent to licensed lenders in the network, who may use it when making lending decisions.

By providing an application, users consent to being contacted about their loan request and any related processing or clarification of the information. Because of this, applicants waive their right to file any claims related correspondence from lenders to the FTC or any other agency.

Sharing Personally Identifiable Information
The issuance of loans facilitated by the app is provided by third-party lenders. The app also shares user information with these partners to refine the service and create a better user experience. The Website may also share personal information with these partners, any affiliates, or assignees if it is determined necessary.

When connected to third parties, they have their own privacy policies describing how they use and/or share users’ personal information.

This Website will disclose PII if responding to a court order, subpoena, or similar legal demand, including in cooperation with any law enforcement agency or other government agency; to establish or exercise its legal rights; to defend against legal claims, or as otherwise required by law.

Where fraud, illegal activity, or other wrongdoing is suspected, the PII might also be used if deemed necessary to investigate, prevent, or defend against such actions; to protect or defend the rights, property, or safety of the app’s parent company, its employees, other app or web users, or others; or to enforce its Terms and Conditions or other agreements and policies.

Opt-Out
When a user submits PII, it is deemed automatic consent in the aforementioned contexts. However, a user has the right to opt-out of any further communications from third parties if contacted by them.

Links to Other Websites
As part of the connection process, the app may link or automatically send users away to third-party websites that function outside the terms of this privacy policy.

Therefore, it is the user’s responsibility to read and understand the privacy policies and terms of use of these entities as well. This app has no control or decision-making power within the third-party websites it links to.

Changes
The Website reserves the right to revise, modify, update, or add to the content, information, policies, disclosures, disclaimers, and features, it provides, at any time and without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.

Children’s Privacy
Users under the age of 18 or under the age of lending laws in your jurisdiction are not permitted to use this Website. The app does not knowingly nor intend to collect Personally Identifiable Information from children and those under the age of 18.

Security
The Website uses industry-standard SSL secure encryption and other security measures to prevent user data from unauthorized use, access, and/or disclosure. When information is submitted, it is sent securely to lenders over the internet. The app is not responsible for the security of the third parties it links to.

Accessing Your Personally Identifiable Information
If you would like to review and/or request changes to the Personally Identifiable Information that the App has collected about you through your use of the Website, please contact the Website by writing or sending an email to Info@BorrowMoneyApp.com
